Segway X260 VS X160
The Segway X160 is the smaller brother version of X260. It’s about a thousand dollars less than X260. The main differences are you’re going to get a single crown fork as opposed to the dual crown fork. You’re also going to get about half the battery range and you’re also going to get about half the speed. If you are thinking about trying to save some money, you can choose X160.
Another audience for the 160 would be like your son or daughter. You want to put them on a bike but you don’t necessarily want them to be able to hit 50 miles an hour right out of the box, so Segway X160 would be a good solution for a youth rider.Item | X260 | X160 |

Conclusion
If you want to save money or you want to buy an electric dirt bike for your son or daughter, you can choose Segway X160. It is about $1000 cheaper than X260.
If you want to buy a more powerful electric dirt bike and you’re the type of rider that wants to control everything about the behavior of the ride, you’re probably going to go with the Segway X260. Because you can very easily just open the app, press a button and you’ve changed those settings. With the Sur Ron you have to pull over to the side of the trail plug in your programming cable, program in your settings, and turn it off turn it back on it’s just really cumbersome. Another key factor that may influence your decision is whether or not you want to pick the color. Do you want to have a black Sur Ron like everybody else, or do you want to have a red X260 or blue X260? It depends on you. If you do not care about the app or the color, just choose the cheaper one.Why electric dirt bike?
The electric dirt bike is so low in maintenance. If you’ve been riding gas dirt bikes, there’s a lot of like tuning and things that you need to do. With electric dirt bike, you just need to turn the key on and go. The maintenance is much easier and you don’t have a dirty engine to deal with. You don’t have to mix gas and oil for a two-stroke engine. You just get on and go for instance.
There is a ton of fun if you’re interested in getting into motorcycling or dirt biking, but not wanting to pay for license, registration, insurance. You really do less maintenance and spend less money than dirt bike.
