Hyper Bicycles was established in 1990. With a long history of participation in the BMX and bicycle industry, Hyper started their electric bike product line and made some of the best e-bikes at the most affordable prices. The Hyper E-ride series is one of their best sellers.

The Hyper e-ride electric bike series contain 3 models: Hyper E-ride Mountain MTB, 700C Hyper E-ride City Electric Bike, Hyper E-Ride Cruiser Electric Bike. The Hyper E-ride ebikes are popular for good reason: They are lightweight, ride smooth, offer reliable traction, and run for more than an hour on a single charge.

Most electric bikes are expensive. Even a moderately electric bike can run north of $1,000. All of the Hyper E-ride electric bikes are under $800, they are great ebikes for the money.

  1. I love my Hyper ebike. I have the blue city bike. What many don’t realize is that these bikes go for well over an hour. I am almost always peddling, at least a little. A lot of time I don’t need any electric assistance, so I either leave it off or level one. Level one gives the bike a little extra speed every minute or so. It’s fun! If I am going over a bridge or big hill, I will change setting to 2 or 3 and just zip up the hill. If the terrain is easy, I will change to 1 or shut it off. So, depending on how much pedal assistance I use determines the life of the battery charge. Zipping up hills is great fun. Not worrying about being too tired to bike back home is wonderful. I’m doing a lot more around town riding and also the major bike paths. My girlfriend bought one too. We just came back from Florida beach vacation. We brought the bikes and had fabulous time exploring the area. Stopping for lunch and shopping. Riding great stretches along the beach.
    Truly a lifestyle change.
